Bibisco es un sencillo pero interesante programa para escritores, pues ofrece facilidades para estructurar una novela, cuento o guión, como es una premisa en la que se defina la novela, los capítulos y escenas; los lugares donde transcurre la acción y aparece cada personaje; los diferentes hilos narrativos. También ofrece consejos sobre cómo crear nuestros personajes y hacerlos verosímiles, definiendo sus conflictos y necesidades, el tiempo en el que transcurre la historia, añadir notas, elegir el tipo de narrador y más. Se puede analizar la longitud de los capítulos, los capítulos donde aparece cada ubicación y otras cosas mediante un sistema de etiquetas.

Una cosa que podría echarse en falta de este programa es la posibilidad de exportar directamente en formato .epub, pues únicamente permite exportar en PDF y RTF (word). Aunque ofrece sugerencias de libros con los que mejorar nuestra técnica.

Bibisco es gratuito y de código abierto, con versiones para GNU/Linux (32 y 64 bits), Windows y Mac.

Bibisco is a simple but interesting program for writers. It offers facilities to structure a novel, story or script, as it is a premise in which we can define the novel, chapters and scenes; the places where the action takes place and where each character appears; the different narrative threads. It also offers tips about how to create our characters and make them credible, defining their conflicts and needs, the time in which the story passes, add notes, choose the narrator type and more. You can analyze the length of the chapters, the chapters where each location appears and other stuff through a label system.

One thing that might be missed is the possibility to export directly in .epub format, because it only allows exporting in PDF and RTF (word). Although it offers book suggestions with which we could improve our technique.

Bibisco is free and open source, with versions for GNU/Linux (32 y 64 bits), Windows and Mac.

Como su nombre indica, GNU MediaGoblin (para registrarse, aquí ) es un proyecto libre y descentralizado de la GNU . Es una alternativa de código abierto a servicios como Flickr o YouTube , por ejemplo. Es muy completo. De hecho, más completo que cualquier o casi cualquier servicio privativo. Permite colgar y compartir texto, archivos (que se verán como PDF), audio, vídeo y hasta modelos 3D.
